Happy New Year Everybody
When the seven stars of the Matariki cluster (the Pleades) rise in the Midwinter sky, is when New Year is celebrated in New Zealand.
We are so cool down here that we have an actual astronomically/ astrologically timed New Years festival.
And I made a cake. Will freaking wonders never cease?
With all of our love to yous, who are all, without exception north and northerer of here. On this little planet, it is not very hard to be north of here unless you are a penguin. Or a very confused Yetti.
