## Binding & Loosing — Walking in Agreement with Heaven
📖 Matthew 16:19
“Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
This Scripture has often been misunderstood.
Many people think it means we can control heaven or command anything we want into existence. But Jesus was teaching something deeper and wiser than that.
Binding and loosing are about agreement.
Not control.
Not manipulation.
Not forcing outcomes.
It is about aligning ourselves with the heart, wisdom, and authority of God.
---
## What Does “Bind” Mean?
To bind means:
- to reject
- to restrain
- to refuse agreement with what is destructive
There are things we should not welcome into our hearts, minds, or lives.
We are called to bind:
- fear
- bitterness
- deception
- chaos
- hatred
- impulsive reactions
- hopelessness
- lies about our worth
Binding is saying:
👉 “This is not in agreement with God’s truth for my life.”
---
## What Does “Loose” Mean?
To loose means:
- to release
- to allow
- to welcome what aligns with God
We are meant to loose:
- peace
- healing
- wisdom
- truth
- forgiveness
- discernment
- patience
- restoration
- love
Loosing is saying:
👉 “Lord, let Your will and Your Spirit flow freely in my life.”
---
## Heaven Leads — We Agree
One of the biggest misunderstandings is believing earth tells heaven what to do.
Biblically, it is the opposite.
Heaven leads.
We align.
Jesus was teaching His followers to walk in agreement with God’s heart and truth—not in spiritual pride or control.
---
## What This Means For Us Daily
Every day we choose:
- fear or peace
- reaction or wisdom
- bitterness or healing
- striving or trust
Binding and loosing happen in those moments.
When we reject fear and choose trust,
we are aligning with heaven.
When we release forgiveness instead of hatred,
we are aligning with heaven.
When we stop trying to control everything and surrender to God,
we are aligning with heaven.

## Today’s Prayer 🙏
Lord Jesus,
Teach me to walk in agreement with Your truth.
Help me bind anything in my life that is rooted in fear, deception, bitterness, chaos, or hopelessness.
And help me loose what comes from You:
peace, wisdom, healing, truth, love, patience, and clarity.
Do not let me operate from pride or fear.
Teach me to walk humbly, wisely, and fully aligned with Your will.
Feed my soul today.
Teach me to cling to You,
to trust in You,
and to rely on You fully.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
✨ Feed My Soul
One Day. One Scripture. One Prayer.
REMEMBER THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ALWAYS:
🌿 Love
Love is not weak.
Biblical love:
- tells truth
- protects
- forgives
- remains patient
- seeks what is right
Love without truth becomes enabling.Truth without love becomes harshness.
Jesus walked in both.
🌿 Joy
Joy is deeper than happiness.
Happiness depends on circumstances.Joy comes from knowing God remains faithful even when life is difficult. Joy survives storms.
🌿 Peace
Peace is not the absence of problems.
Peace is stability in the middle of uncertainty.
It is the quiet confidence that God is still present and still working.
🌿 Patience
Patience is trusting God’s timing instead of forcing outcomes.
Most suffering grows worse through rushing, reacting, and striving.
Patience says:👉 “Lord, I trust You enough to wait wisely.”
🌿 Kindness
Kindness reflects the heart of God.
Not fake niceness.Not weakness.
True kindness:
- listens
- comforts
- helps
- speaks gently
- acts with compassion
🌿 Goodness
Goodness means integrity when nobody is watching.
It is choosing what is right even when it costs something.
🌿 Faithfulness
Faithfulness is consistency.
Remaining steady with God:
- in blessing
- in uncertainty
- in waiting
- in pain
Faithfulness is built daily.
🌿 Gentleness
Gentleness is strength under control.
Jesus was gentle, yet powerful.
Gentleness does not mean allowing abuse or becoming passive.
It means responding with wisdom instead of aggression.
🌿 Self-Control
Self-control is spiritual maturity.
Not every emotion deserves expression. Not every impulse deserves action.
Self-control protects peace, relationships, and alignment with God.
