Prayer to be renewed and sent in the Apostolic Age
Father, thank You that You are always doing a new thing.
We come boldly before You to ask that You would send Your Holy Spirit upon the Nation of Australia in greater abundance than ever before. Lord, we repent of any way in which we have given in to the influence of apathy. Lift us up from the Valley of Dry Bones and lift the spirit of apathy off this land once and for all.
Jesus, we thank You for creating paths in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Make the heart of every Australian be fertile ground to receive Your Word. As we seek to be renewed and sent as missionary disciples in the Apostolic Age we ask that You pour abundant graces into each frontier of our parish communities: our families, schools, government, economy, media, arts and entertainment. We declare You as Lord over all.
Holy Spirit, ignite in us a passion for making disciples and help us to bear fruit that will last.
