Busting the first 3 objections
People aren't making videos for a range of reasons but here are the first three objections that came up when I approached people to join.
Remember the first task was simply introduce yourself and share one thing you're overthinking.
- I'm overthinking too many things to pick a thing (I'm overwhelmed, therefore I won't hit record)
- I'm worried heaps of people will see it (I have a fear of being seen, therefore I won't hit record)
- Which app should I use? (Which doesn't sound like an objection, but I did not hit record)
You can all do this. It gets easier. It might take 1000 times, but eventually it does get easier!
