We’re officially 2 weeks away from the NFL Draft…
So let’s kick off our 7-part series by breaking down the basics.
📋 How the NFL Draft Works
1️⃣ 7 Rounds
There are 7 rounds total, with each team getting one pick per round (unless they trade).
2️⃣ How Teams Get Picks
Teams can:
• Keep their original picks
• Trade picks for players or other picks
👉 That’s why some teams have MORE picks… and others have fewer
3️⃣ Draft Order
The order is based on last season’s performance:
👉 Worst teams pick first (RAIDERS!!!!)
👉 Best teams pick last
💡 This is designed to keep the league competitive
Fun Fact:
The team with the #1 pick usually needs the MOST help…
But doesn’t always make the BEST pick 👀
