Years had passed since Michal last saw David. She had built a new life with Paltiel, yet David demanded that she be returned to him. This was more about politics than loveāDavid was securing his position as king, and Michal was part of that plan.
Imagine how confusing and painful this moment must have been for her. Once again, Michalās life was being controlled by others. What once began as love now felt more like obligation and power.
Her story reminds us that when people treat us like pieces in their plans, God still sees our worth and heart.
