Lyophilized peptides last longer when they’re kept cold and dry. Industry standard for long-term storage is -20°C or colder. At that temperature the powder stays stable for years. Fridge (2–8°C) is fine for shorter holds. Room temp is only for shipping and short transit.
What you want to see from a supplier is simple:
• Everything in one controlled freezer, not scattered across a hundred random boxes
• Sealed vials, not sitting open or mixed with junk
• Consistent temperature, not whatever closet or warehouse shelf is convenient

Once you reconstitute, different rules: fridge only, don’t freeze the mixed vial, use it in a few weeks. The powder in the unopened vial is the form that belongs in the freezer.
