Thanks, Bo, for the invite — excited to discover this community space.

I've become a regular visitor to NMB over the past year, but my connection goes back much further. I first heard about Ocean Drive during my college days in the late '60s. Everyone said you had to get there — the beach clubs, the bands, the music that was keeping R&B alive when you couldn't hear it anywhere else.

My recent trips have been everything I hoped. Got to Spanish Galleon, O.D. Pavillion and Fat Harold's caught some great shows. Loved the Cammy's and S.O.S. — especially getting to meet several of the radio personalities who are on this page.

Would love to have gotten there for Mid-Winter. Your posts help the winter doldrums.
