Today's session was a good one. Last week we talked about finishing. This week we talked about finding a use for our finished products. How did you do?
GET IT OFF THE SHELF: Your Content Isn’t Done Until It’s Doing Its Job
We don’t have a content problem.
We have a follow-through problem.
Most of us already have more ideas, trainings, videos, offers, downloads, posts, workshops, and half-finished projects than we know what to do with.
The question isn’t:
“What should I create next?”
It’s:
“What is this thing supposed to DO?”
This week inside Spark Starters, we’ve been talking about getting things off the shelf and defining what DONE actually means.
For me, that looks like:
PLAN → DELIVER → PACKAGE → DISTRIBUTE
Because creating the thing is only part of the job.
A live stream isn’t finished because the live ended.
A product isn’t finished because it’s sitting in the store.
A course isn’t finished because the videos were recorded.
An offer isn’t finished because the landing page exists.
If nobody sees it, uses it, buys it, learns from it, or benefits from it…
…it’s still sitting on the shelf.
My own project this week is turning my Spark Starters + Fired Up Card into a complete engagement system — onboarding, live reminders, points, rewards, follow-up, classroom content, and a reason for members to come back.
Not another new idea.
Finish the loop.
So here’s your Back to SKOOL assignment:
Pick ONE thing you’ve already created and ask:
“What has to happen for me to honestly call this DONE?”
Then build the missing pieces.
That might be the most productive thing you do all week.
The recording of today's session is in the classroom.
