Lisa is the sweetest teacher and runs a very friendly and supportive group. She is regularly engaged and responsive in the group and there is something for artists of all levels. There is a structured learning path for skill building. I have managed to keep up a daily sketch practice all because of Sketchbook Studio.

The Sketchbook Studio is a very friendly place to start your journey with art. Whether you’re a complete newbie like myself or someone who is returning to art, Lisa’s community provides a warm supportive environment to learn and grow. As a busy working mum herself, she appreciates that everyone has a different amount of time to spend and that we are all at different stages, so there is no pressure to fit into a tight schedule. Everyone can work at their own pace and enjoy the time sketching. 😊

This is a great community. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced artist, it’s always a great idea to get your sketchbook out, even for a few minutes and create. Lisa runs an excellent and friendly community with a classroom full of resources. I particularly like the daily challenge where everyone draws their version of that day’s subject. If you’re just starting out or want to get back to creating for yourself, this is definitely the place to be.
