3 Easy Ways To Make Money w/ AI Music
Alright, my beautiful humans, I'm going to give you three different ways that you can make money with AI music.
(I'm also going to give you a little paradigm shift to help you with this.)
The Paradigm Shift: Your Music is Digital Real Estate
First off, I want you to think of everything on the Internet—content, whether it's visual images, video, and music—as digital real estate. That is what we are creating when we create music. Anytime someone uses or listens to your music, you get paid.
I want you to embed that in your mind.
The 3 Levels of Earning with AI Music
Level 1: Streaming Platforms
This is the most obvious reason: money from streaming platforms. You can distribute your music on all of these platforms:
- Spotify
- Apple Music
- Amazon
- TikTok
- YouTube Music
- etc.
Every time someone streams your song, you make money. This is a LONG TERM, passive income play.
Level 2: Royalties & Licensing
You can also get royalties from your music. Something like YouTube Content ID will allow you to create a fingerprint for your song. Then, anytime someone uses your music in their video, you get royalties.
Anyone who listens to it or even uses it, inadvertently gives you money, even if it's just fractions of a penny. This is where you officially turn your creations into a piece of digital real estate.
Level 3: Brand Deals & Creating for Businesses
This is where the big money comes from. We have such a big opportunity with AI music for creating music, jingles, and ballads for businesses.
Since it's so easy to create music at scale with this technology, you can lead with value; Create something for free to approach a business or a prospect with, like, "Hey, I created this for you. I want to work with you. If not, it's yours for free."
It kind of puts your foot in the door.
An AI entity called Xania Monet got a brand deal for $3 million paid upfront in cash for AI music generated on Suno. They built a label, a brand, a persona—a piece of digital real estate.
This is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme. This is a long-term play. But if you regularly create music and use it in your content over the next two to five years, you're going to have such a massive catalog of music, of digital real estate.
This is something that everybody can do (and should be doing).
