Day 8 - Promise-Receiving Child of God
God’s plan for you is always good — never disaster! (Jeremiah 29:11) If you were taught that God sends sickness or trouble to teach lessons, this devotional reminds you that such teaching is not found in Jesus’ ministry.
Every time Jesus faced sickness, death, or storms, He spoke words of life, peace, and restoration. You have the same authority as a child of God. When pain shows up, speak healing. When finances look bleak, declare that the Lord is your Shepherd and you will not lack. When fear rises over world events, remind yourself that Jesus came to deliver you from this present evil age.
God’s Word is alive and powerful — but it must be believed and spoken. Don’t agree with the devil’s lies or settle for less than God’s promises. Stand your ground, speak His truth, and expect to see His goodness manifest in your life.
Question to Ponder: What promise from God do you need to speak over your situation today — and how can you align your words with His truth?
