Sing Me a Story
Yesterday, my sister sent me a song to listen to that she had created for her husband for their upcoming 35th wedding anniversary on July 4th. In the description it had a little ad that read I could do it too.
Ok, thanks AI. I appreciate the vote of confidence.
Moving on now. 😊
Thursday night, I was responding to a post in Plain English asking where I live. I answered Washington State and mentioned that I was a professional transplant and that while it is absolutely gorgeous here, it is also severely overpriced.
Paul responded with a different question:
"Where would you live if money wasn't an issue?"
This was my answer:
If money wasn't an issue, I would live on densely forested land that takes days to walk from end to end. A slow-moving river filled with otters and other wildlife running through it. There is a hidden oasis of ponded water with waterfalls cascading over the rocks. Only the ones that know where to look can find it. The land sustains me and the thousands of animals that freely live upon it. There's only abundance. My treehouse looks over the land and across the water that reflects the sparkling of the billions of twinkling stars in the night sky. And all I can hear is the sweet sound of peace and freedom. I don't know where this world is... yet.
Paul replied:
"I don't know where that place is either, but the fact that you can describe it in that much detail makes me think it exists somewhere inside you already.
Maybe the exact location hasn't shown up on a map yet, but the peace, freedom, abundance, and connection to nature you're describing are clearly things your soul knows it's looking for.
Sometimes the destination appears after we become the person who belongs there." 🌲✨
Last night, I decided what better to do than break out my hidden talents as the next viral social media sensation of the century.
Yah Team! Let's do this!
So I did.
I wasn't expecting much, but what I got was a beautiful song and a surprise cry session I didn't see coming.
Apparently hearing your heart sung back to you hits a little differently.
Here it is for your listening pleasure. 🎵
You're welcome.
Stand in line for autographs. 😎🎤
