IG just banned me… 😱
I actually found this out when someone messaged me this morning..to ask why I had blocked them 🤣
When I opened IG this is what greeted me… your account had been suspended!
I’ve heard this happen to countless coaches before… no explanation given… just all your hard work creating content and building your following…down the drain.
Now I know I haven’t violated any guidelines so I may well get the account back.
But I’m not freaking out about it.
Why?
I have this community.
I have an email list.
I can still run ads to FB.
But,
It’s a timely reminder to not put all your eggs in one basket!
If you are just relying on IG for leads and clients... what happens if it gets taken away?
Time to start building your back up plan?
Here’s the 2 things I would start with…
- Start growing your email list (so you still have leads to speak too, plus if you have to start a new IG you can ask them to follow the new account)
- Learn how to run ads (so you can still market yourself and can quickly grow a new account if you need too)

Whilst I wait for meta to decide if I am worthy of keeping my IG account…
