Hiya!

I’m Sarah currently living in Los Angeles, been here for 10 years. I’m from all over, I’ve lived in essentially the 4 corners of the US. I’ve always loved music since I was a kid, I was also a dancer for many years which I think really helped me find my way into DJing. Well that and I got deep into the Brooklyn house scene when I was in college and decided to go for it when I moved west.

2 years ago I started teaching myself Ableton, so I could make my own music. For me, it was/is a very challenging program, however I would call myself a solid beginner. I released my first two tracks this year, which felt like a huge accomplishment.

I love all kinds of music but I’m particularly drawn to world sounds, progressive house, haunting vocals and lots of drum beats.

I’m really good at coming up with musical ideas, embellishments, or sound concepts but I am still struggling with creating exactly what’s in my head on Ableton. I often end up settling for what I can do, especially if I can’t figure it out from youtube videos etc. That has been what has slowed me down the most.
