Becoming aware of your triggers
Purpose: Encourage safe participation
Emotional regulation doesn’t start with control.
It starts with awareness.
A trigger is anything that activates your nervous system — tone of voice, conflict, feeling ignored, pressure, past experiences.
Today, just notice:
  • What situations tend to activate you?
  • What does it feel like in your body when that happens?
You don’t need to explain everything or go deep.
Even one word is enough.
If you’re comfortable, share one thing that tends to trigger a strong reaction for you.
