How can I get “Read Sample” and additional listing images on a KDP guided journal?
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone can help me understand the difference between my listing and a competitor’s.
I publish a guided memory journal through Amazon KDP (low-content category). When I published it, I selected the free KDP identifier, but my book doesn’t have a visible ISBN—only Amazon’s internal barcode/identifier.
A competitor in the same niche has:
- Read Sample / Look Inside enabled
- Multiple additional images below the main cover (interior pages, lifestyle images, etc.)
My listing currently has neither.
My questions are:
- How can I enable Read Sample / Look Inside for a KDP guided journal like mine?
- Is it possible to add additional images to the product page for a KDP paperback, or is this only available through Seller Central/Vendor Central?
- Does the absence of a visible ISBN affect either of these features?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has successfully added these features to a KDP journal. Thanks!
