Technology: Heat Is a Performance Problem
When equipment slows down or restarts under heavy use, the real problem may be heat—not processing power.
Computers, controllers, drives, and power supplies create more heat as the workload increases. If that heat cannot escape, protective controls may reduce performance or shut equipment down to prevent damage.
Check the whole cooling path. A fan can be spinning while a clogged filter, blocked vent, tangled cable bundle, or hot surrounding room quietly restricts airflow. Keep intake and exhaust paths clear, monitor temperatures under realistic loads, and replace aging cooling components before they fail.
More powerful hardware will not solve a system that cannot remove the heat it already produces.
