Beginner Tip & Ask
tl;dr, we fucked our tiktok account and need to start again from 0 followers. Would appreciate if you could give our new account a follow. https://www.tiktok.com/@seven_minerals (we want to start live streams asap and the follows will help!)
The Tip:
Take tiktok account violations seriously. (not talking tiktok shop violations, talking the linked tiktok app account).
We had a few violations come through for duplicate content posted when we were just starting out a couple months back. So we stacked on a few violation points very quickly (you get several points for each violation). Then over time we got a couple more... Eventually we hit the 24 point max, not thinking too much of it.
Normally, points are removed from your cumulative violation score after 90 days. BUT if you hit the 24 point max. You're then permanently suspended form ecommerce activities on the account, and the violation points never go away. This means no tagging products in your posts, no lives, etc. etc. (We realized points wouldn't be removed about a week ago)
I took shop violations very seriously from day one, but was super lassie faire about our linked tiktok account violations (regrettably). Now we have to link a new account to our store and start from 0. (Also know that you can only unlink tiktok accounts from your store THREE times. Three strikes and you're stuck with that last linked account forever. (Note, official linked accounts are different than linked marketing accounts.)
