Should we stop living for the weekends?
Real question.
How many times have you said:
“Just need to get through this week.”
“ Thank God it’s Friday.”
“Weekend can’t come fast enough.”
I get it. We all do it.
But if we’re basically writing off Monday–Friday… that’s most of our life. Are we really okay with that?
I’m not saying weekends aren’t great. They are.
But if the only time we feel alive, free, creative, or human is those 2 days… surely that’s a bit of a red flag right?
So maybe the goal isn’t to “escape” the week…
Maybe it’s to build weekdays we don’t hate.
Curious what you all think:
Are we meant to live for the weekends? Or is that mindset keeping us stuck?
