š ļø How to Add Digital Download Products to Your Shopify Store

Step 1: Install the Digital Downloads App (there is an image below of the FREE Shopify app)
- Log in to your Shopify admin.
- Go to Apps > Search āDigital Downloadsā in the Shopify App Store.
- Install the Digital Downloads app (made by Shopifyāitās free!).

Step 2: Add a Product
- In your Shopify admin, go to Products > Add Product.
- Create a product name, description, price, and upload a product image or mockup.
- Uncheck "This is a physical product" so Shopify doesnāt ask for shipping info.

Step 3: Attach the Digital File
- After saving the product, click āMore Actionsā > āAdd Digital Attachmentā (this option appears once the Digital Downloads app is installed).
- Upload your digital file (PDF, PNG, ZIP, etc.).
- Save.

Step 4: Test Your Checkout
Run a test purchase using Shopifyās Bogus Gateway or a discount code at 100% off to make sure the file delivery works correctly.
Step 5: Add Policies (Optional but Recommended)
Go to Settings > Policies and add download instructions or digital product refund policies for clarity.

- Zip large file bundles to reduce upload size.
- Use clear product mockups to show exactly what customers are getting.
- Automate upsells using apps like Zipify or ReConvert.
- Tag your digital products as such for easy filtering and future promotions.
