Back in business

Time is taken after Precious' hatching for adjustment period of feeding, preening and preparing for return to marketplace. Precious most adorable in self made nest of hay in loft happily sprawled in sunlight and curled to ball in moonlight. He is proving to have many moods.

One of boundless energy when he yearns to dash, climb, and leap from whatever height he reaches. Stretching tiny magnificent wings not yet sufficient to hold him aloft. This one has caught him every time. So far.

When Precious hungry is bottomless void and prone to nip and bite with ever-sharpening teeth. He has good strong grip and likes to pull and tear at meat, even if being held by another. Manners being work-in-progress.

He have two types curiosity. One shoving face into item of interest and other watching calmly from distance. Challenging when more destructive but easier when relaxing. Precious prefers perch where he see most. Doesn't remain in arms for long but this gives some relief when needing to carry much.

Today returning to market to offer more unclaimed wishes for coin. Precious is excited, weaving between shoulders to see all sights. We pass more familiar faces and catch lovely scent in breeze. Precious perk in recognition and attempts yowling roar at BloomMother and Miriath at stall of aromatic elixirs, mixtures, and healing pastes and spices. Maybe good for food. This one need make stop later.

We set shop with crate covered by blanket near fountain and close to stage. Precious jumps down near bag giving a sniff. He like to paw at satchel, see if he can open the latch to peer inside.

"Not for us, Precious. Not yet. We guard. We assist. This one needs your help to defend."

Precious grumbles a growl but stretches out over makeshift stall then his head tilts as lovely tune flows through air.

it delights the ears and brings smiles to faces. Even Precious seems entranced.

All so far so good but new customer appears and this one greets with grin, "Looking to find the unfound?"

Precious greets with yowl and suspicious gaze, eager to defend and take part in business. So proud.
