Exodus Reading
Note that it was God that hardened Pharaoh’s heart. Why?
“And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.”
Exodus 7:3-5 KJV
“But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.”
Exodus 10:27 KJV
“And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”
Exodus 11:9 KJV
It was God that raised Pharaoh up and put him in that position of authority. Why?
“And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.”
Exodus 9:16
Pharaoh and the most powerful empire of that time would be humbled, and God gets ALL of the glory throughout all the earth. Amen.
“And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said. Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.”
Exodus 12:31-32 KJV
“And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.”
Exodus 14:4 KJV
“And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.”

“And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.”
Exodus 14:31 KJV
Let us never forget what You have done for us and what You have brought us up out of, O God! Keep us fascinated… keep us in awe of You!
