Welcome
Welcome to Momma Squatch and her bully mix! Reactive dogs are usually acting out of fear/nerves/being unsure. So boosting your dogs confidence in a whole range of situations and making them feel safe and happy in themselves is what you will need to aim for! I have been where you are - my collie pup was reactive. He is now about to become a therapy dog! He was scared of dogs, people, cats - you name it! But slowly and surely we showed him that the world is actually quite fun! Allowing him to trust in me was a biggy as well as he then looked to me for how to act in situations. Start going through the obedience classes, get that bond going with your dog then I would suggest the engagement games short course to follow up. Keep going you will get there!
