Dog Training Myth
👉 “You have to be the ALPHA to control your dog.”
Truth:
That idea came from outdated wolf studies (literally the 1940s). Modern science shows dogs don’t need dominance—they need clear communication, consistency, and rewards. Training works best when your dog feels safe, motivated, and understood, not intimidated.
Why this matters:
Dogs trained with fear may obey short-term, but they’re more likely to develop anxiety, reactivity, or aggression later. Positive reinforcement builds better behavior + a stronger bond 🐾
Leadership isn’t about being scary.
It’s about being clear. 💛
