Daycares
I recently had a conversation with some friends about the daycare they use. With gov assistance they pay half of a $1850 a month child care bill. That seems ridiculously high to me. We live in a smaller town. We also have a lot of in home daycares in our area. I have nothing against an in home daycare except, I dont know what all they have in their house. Some, if not most, are not accredited or have any real training. Again, not that that is bad but I feel there is a need for a high quality daycare, not just in out town but all over. The little research I have done shows that cost are too high for most but they dont know any other option. I also have heard too many horror stories of terrible things happening to kids.
I am going to continue this journey of learning what I can and hope to fill a void in our local communities. Lets see if anything comes of this!
