Holy Shenanigans Moment
One moment recently that felt chaotic but somehow still meaningful was one of those days where absolutely nothing went according to plan. I had a full schedule in my head, things I needed to finish, ideas I wanted to work on, and this unrealistic belief that I was going to be incredibly organized all day long.
Instead… life said no.
Things kept interrupting my plans, my focus disappeared halfway through the day, technology acted personally offended by my existence, and by that evening I felt frustrated because I thought I had “wasted” the whole day.
But later that night, after I finally stopped trying to force productivity, I ended up having a really meaningful conversation with someone who needed encouragement. And honestly, I needed that conversation too.
It reminded me that not every meaningful day looks productive on paper. Sometimes God is doing deeper things in the middle of interruptions, delays, and unexpected moments we never would’ve scheduled for ourselves.
I think I’m slowly learning that God doesn’t always move through perfectly organized plans. Sometimes He moves through holy chaos. Through detours. Through moments that feel inconvenient but end up mattering more than the original plan ever would have.
And honestly? That’s probably why the brand is called Divine Shenanigans. Because God has a funny way of turning messy moments into meaningful ones.
Let's take a moment to think about this today: What’s one moment recently where life felt chaotic but somehow still meaningful?
