Little More About Me
❤️ A Little About Me
I thought I would share a little about myself so you can get to know the person behind this community.
Before I ever created digital products, I spent many years as a FedEx Custom Critical (FCC) team driver with my husband. We traveled all across the United States and Canada, and honestly, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I was able to see places I never imagined I would see and meet people from all walks of life.
Our truck hauled some incredible cargo over the years, including pharmaceuticals, million-dollar artwork, and even live animals. Because our unit could maintain extremely cold temperatures, we often transported sensitive shipments that required constant monitoring. Crossing places like the Mojave Desert could be challenging, even with temperature-controlled equipment.
When COVID arrived, everything changed.
We transported COVID samples between facilities and laboratories during the early days of the pandemic. Later, when vaccines became available, we hauled vaccine shipments across the country. During that time, we witnessed things that I will never forget. Some people believed what was happening wasn't real, but I can tell you from personal experience that it was. The memories from those days are difficult and have stayed with me.
In March 2022, after years of stress from trucking, accidents, dangerous road conditions, and the emotional weight of the pandemic, I suffered a major stroke. It changed my life overnight. Like many people facing serious health challenges, we experienced financial hardships and eventually lost much of what we had built.
But I was grateful for one thing—I was still alive.
I still deal with some balance issues on my left side and occasional anxiety, but every day is a gift. Then last year, life threw another challenge my way when I was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, I am currently in remission, and my hair is slowly growing back.
These experiences changed how I view life.
Today, I spend time walking my dog, creating digital products, and helping other people learn new skills. I started selling designs on Etsy as a way to help pay for my medical expenses and medications. What began as a necessity turned into something I genuinely love.
Many people are surprised when they learn about my stroke because I learn quickly and stay busy creating. I take that as a compliment. While the stroke changed parts of my life, it didn't take away my determination to keep learning and building.
That determination is one of the reasons this community exists.
I created this space to help other creators learn, grow, and build something for themselves. Whether you're here to learn AI, create digital products, start an Etsy shop, or simply connect with others who understand the journey, I want you to know you're welcome here.
My goal is simple: help as many people as I can while continuing to learn alongside all of you.
Thank you for being here and for being part of this community. I'd love to hear your story too. Feel free to introduce yourself below and tell us where you're from and what you're working on.
