It’s Not Always About Working Harder
I’ll be real the start of this year was not easy for me. From January through the early months, I had the intention, the drive, and the willingness to improve my situation, but nothing seemed to work. I spent long nights trying to figure everything out by myself, overthinking every move, and feeling stuck while others appeared to be progressing.
There were times I questioned everything. I asked myself if I was even on the right path. That kind of uncertainty can be heavy and discouraging.
But at some point, things began to shift. Not because I suddenly became more skilled or started working harder, but because I made a different decision. I stopped trying to do everything alone and accepted guidance that was already in front of me.
Someone shared an opportunity with me that I almost ignored. Fear and past disappointments made me hesitate. But deep down, I knew I had two choices: remain where I was or take a step forward and put my trust in Allah.
So I chose to move forward.
By the will of Allah, that one decision made a significant difference in my life. Up until now, I’ve generated over $35,000 in revenue. But beyond the financial results, what truly matters is what came with it.
I gained clarity. I developed confidence. I now understand what I’m doing and how to do it properly. There’s also a sense of peace that comes from knowing you’re building something with direction and purpose.
If this year has been difficult for you, if you’ve been putting in effort without seeing results, understand this: sometimes it’s not about working harder. Sometimes it’s about aligning yourself with the right direction.
