Why your cold emails aren't getting replies (and what we do instead)
Most people’s emails sound like this:
“Hey, we help {niche} get more clients with a proven system…”
It’s vague. It’s about you. And it blends in with the 27 other pitches in their inbox.
Here’s what we’ve found works way better especially in cold outreach:
1. Start with them, not you.Lead with a custom opener something from their site, job post, or LinkedIn.
"Saw you’re rolling out [offer/product] curious how you’re handling [problem]."
2. Replace benefits with outcomes.
“We helped [company] book 22 sales calls last month without ads or manual follow-up.”
3. Soften your CTA.
“Open to a quick brainstorm on how we’d do that for you?” NOT “let me know a good time” that’s too aggressive for cold.
Using just these 3 tweaks, we’ve helped clients consistently land 5–8 qualified calls/month even in dry niches like real estate, logistics, and coaching.
If it’d be helpful, I can send over the structure we use + a few real examples that get replies. Just drop comment or DM me and I’ll shoot it your way!
