Which AI tool is actually the best for coding right now? 💻🤖

I was having a conversation with my mentor about AI subscriptions, and we got into a really good debate on what's currently worth paying for—especially for software development.
With all the recent changes to rate limits across different platforms, here’s a quick breakdown of where things stand right now:
- Gemini: Paused paid tier for now due to reduced limits, but still top-tier performance for code.
- Claude: Claude Opus remains a strong secondary choice for dev work (over Sonnet).
- GitHub Copilot / ChatGPT: Still solid alternatives depending on your workflow.
- Currently running dual agents not to hit the limits.
- The risk of being model dependency.
