I remember the moment I understood that I wasn’t broken.
I kept apologizing.
Kept trying to fix myself.
Kept working so hard to be “better,”
while my heart was quietly falling apart.
Healing began when I stopped asking,
“What’s wrong with me?”
and started asking,
“What happened to me?”
And over time I learned this:
You don’t heal by chasing love or begging for it.
You heal by giving yourself
the love that was missing for so long.
It takes time.
It’s not linear.
But you do get there 🌱
