Day 6 was the unglamorous, necessary kind of progress. 🔒
Spent today making sure SpendSense doesn't just work — it works safely. Checked that no API keys or credentials ever touched the codebase, added retry logic for when the AI service gets overloaded, made sure a single bad row of data can't crash the whole app anymore.Also spent a genuinely humbling amount of time discovering that "fixed in one place" doesn't mean "fixed everywhere" — this app runs across three separate files now (the dashboard, a daily automated digest, and my testing notebook), and getting them to actually agree with each other turned into its own debugging exercise.Not every day of building AI looks like AI.
