My simple bucket list.
Howdy 🫡
To be honest, for someone who sees life as a kind of game and has felt like it’s been one long holiday for at least the past 9 years, my bucket list might seem boring. I spent 3 years living in a camper van, healing my traumas through long hikes and backpacking.
I started living by the KISS values.
Kindness, Intellect, Simplicity, and Silence.
So yes, I moved from a Jaguar to a car worth about 4,000 that I can fix myself on the street. A second hand bike. A guitar. And just a few experiences.
However, thanks to Hannah, I got a new wind in my sails. I realized that I could help fulfill other people’s bucket lists, maybe members of my family, friends, and so after 9 years I decided to stop being a digital nomad, return to the Czech Republic, rebuild some kind of base there, pay off the remaining obligations within a year, and maybe find someone with whom I can share a common bucket list.
The most valuable thing we have is time, and the time spent with the people close to us.
I’m also adding my favorite photo from a random hike in Tarifa in 2024, where Hannah and I had already met once, and only two years later we reconnected around the idea of Pink Carrot, this time shaped and presented in a more appealing way. Sometimes things simply need time to mature.
Cheers,
Jakub
