Removing stubborn blank from the mould
This was meant to be a quick video showing how to remove a blank from the mould using compressed air.
In most cases, it pops out easily but this one was a bit more stubborn. That actually worked out well, as it gave me the chance to show how I troubleshoot when things don’t go to plan.
In this instance, the issue was caused by using hot glue at the base of the wood when placing it into the mould. The bond was simply too strong for the compressed air alone to separate it from the plastic when applied from the top.
