Today, I watched Ayodeji's DAX video class, and I found it to be highly informative. I gained a deeper understanding of the topic, and personally, I see DAX as a powerful tool that can refine raw data into valuable insights, much like fire refines gold. I've been eager to expand my knowledge of DAX, recognizing its significance in data analysis. I understood when to use SUM and SUMX. Use SUM for simple aggregations where you need to sum a single column and use SUMX for more complex scenarios involving table iterations, calculations, and filtering. The choice between them depends on the specific requirements of your DAX measure or calculation.
Tomorrow, I'm looking forward to delving into the second part of the class.
