Cursor and future of developers

I just saw what Cursor can do and I am both excited and uneasy for my future as an AI/ML developer. If anyone can tell Cursor what to create, without any knowledge of the programming being written, then it will be more difficult to differentiate ourselves as a "developer" of systems.

My hope is that years of full-stack development of systems from the ground-up can be that differentiator. The understanding of how component pieces affect other logic points within a system to create efficient workflows has been the moniker of talented developers. I'm sure with Cursor I will be able to create the systems that are required, however I can't shake the fact that technologies like Cursor are kneipping at our heels.

I'm interested to hear the thoughts of this talented community.
