AI Skill Roadmap - What steps would you take to learn AI?

I've been looking online a lot the last couple weeks trying to find a proven roadmap & checklist of skills i would need in order to be successful with AI

I'm looking forward to looking at all the free content out there but my question is for those well-established in the field already, how would you go about learning AI today & what skills would you say are absolutely essential to your success?

I'm personally waiting to be able to access the level 3 content in this community but until then i would love insight for anyone already been down that road.
