The 5 P's stand for:
Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance.
We don't want to waste time on film day. If we want maximum results, preparation is key.
The day before film day:
1. Decide what type of video you're creating.
- How-to
- Consultation
- Day in the life
- Client transformation
- Educational tip
2. Create a shot list.Know every shot you need before you hit record.
3. Charge everything.
- Camera batteries
- iPhone
- Microphones
- Lights
- Laptop (if needed)
4. Message your client.Confirm the appointment and let them know you'll be filming so everyone is on the same page.
5. Write down your talking points. Don't script every word. Just list the 3–5 key points you want to say so you stay focused and sound natural.
Preparation creates confidence.
Remember: The way we do one thing, we do all things—and that's through excellence.
