You do not have to promise forever.
Ten days is enough to begin.
Pick one small thing.
Make it yours.
Try it before the day gets loud,
or after everyone has gone to sleep.
Try it badly.
Try it beautifully.
Try it at the wrong time
and learn that, too.
Some days will give you proof.
Some days will give you questions.
Keep both.
Because a habit is not a test
you either pass or fail.
It is a conversation with your life -
Does this fit here?
What makes this easier?
What keeps pulling me away?
What makes me want to return?
And when you miss a day,
do not build a monument to it.
Come back.
Change the cue.
Shrink the step.
Move the hour.
Ask for company.
Try again, differently.
You are not collecting perfect days.
You are collecting clues
to a life that works better
because you finally stopped forcing yourself
to work the same way every time.
Ten days.
One experiment.
Something learned.
Then take what worked with you.
