Networking and Using People
This one might be a little uncomfortable… but it’s worth talking about
There’s a big difference between:
🤝 Networking
and
🎯 Only reaching out when you need something.
❌ Using People
• Only messaging when you want a favor
• Disappearing after getting what you need
• Fake engagement just to get attention
• Treating people like leads instead of people
• Only showing up when there’s something to sell
✅ Networking
• Building genuine relationships
• Supporting others without expecting anything immediately
• Having real conversations
• Collaborating and sharing ideas
• Staying connected over time
The interesting thing is…
The people who build the strongest networks often aren’t focused on “getting” something right away.
And ironically, those relationships often lead to opportunities naturally.
