We’re halfway through the week, and while we're all busy building and scaling, I want to pause on a sobering thought: Data is the new oil, but a data leak is the new wildfire.

Whether you're a practitioner or a business owner, ask yourself: If your main database was compromised today, do you have a response plan that takes less than 30 minutes to execute?

Most don't. They have "hope." And hope isn't a security protocol.
