The Copywriting Mindset ✍️
This tip is inspired by the question posted yesterday.
To write the best copy for your business, it takes a certain type of mindset 🧠
I’ve written a lot of copy and content for myself and for clients over the past few years and think I finally cracked the code!
The mindset that’s needed is this…
✨You✨
Lemme explain…
When you’re writing exactly how you would talk to a good friend or a loved one, amazing things happen.
Idk how to explain it but the content I post that is 100% my brand voice does so much better than if I were to try to mimic someone else’s brand voice.
What works for someone else may not work for me.
Now, how does this apply for the clients I write for?
It’s simple really…
Before I start writing for someone, I read through their social media posts, watch their videos, and read more of their content so I get a feel for how they talk and write.
Usually the first piece of copy has the most edits but after that, it’s smooth sailing ⛵️
Don’t try to overcomplicate things.
Remember: Use less words, pack in the most value, and BE YOURSELF.
