So, life happens... We baked croissants to sell at the farmers market and here's how they came out. It's hard to see, but the butter broke so the inside is dense and gummy. As Heather explained it, somehow the butter broke through the layers so instead of the nice flaky pockets, the layers of dough condensed into each other. Still yummy, but certainly not good enough to sell. So no croissants for this week, but we'll try again for next week. We pulled Henry's recipe from the Pantry, and will adjust a couple minor things and see how they turn out. Heather's recipe came from the CIA, but we pulled Henry's recipe from the Pantry, and based off his, we'll make a few adjustments on the next try. I'll be back with those results!
