Stewardship in the Age of AI: 4 Questions for Leaders
If you lead with faith, you already have a framework for AI. You just might not have connected the dots yet.
Stewardship is not just about money. It is about every resource entrusted to you: your team's time, your organization's data, your community's trust.
Four questions before you touch any AI tool:
𝟭. 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺'𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹? If your people spend 40% of their week on tasks a machine could handle, that is not efficiency. That is waste.
𝟮. 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂? AI can process data powerfully. Without governance, it can also expose it recklessly.
𝟯. 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿? Fear says "we will fall behind." Wisdom says "we will move at the right pace with the right plan."
