Hi to all :)
It is a pleasure to be a part of this group, so here I am, Irina ,living on a hill above the smallest town in the world Hum, where life still follows the seasons more than the clock. This is home for me — in the forests, meadows, and among the people of this land.
I would like to support expats in finding their way into real life in Istra: understanding the place they live in, the local mindset, daily rhythms, small unwritten rules, and the nature surrounding them. From when and where to forage asparagus or mushrooms, to learning how to read the landscape, and feeling less like a visitor and more like part of the lived story.
I offer botanical walks and share local knowledge, weaving together nature, creativity, hands-on crafts, languages, and storytelling. If you have a house or land, I can help you sense it, shape it, and turn it into a home with soul — a place that tells your story, not just one that looks good or rents well anyway...
