Hi everyone! 👋🏾

I’m Cinga, and I’m from the Eastern Cape, South Africa 🇿🇦. I’m really excited to be part of this filmmaking journey and to connect with people who share the same passion for storytelling.

I chose filmmaking because I genuinely love storytelling and the power that stories have to connect people, inspire, educate, and give a voice to different experiences.

Coming from the Eastern Cape, I’ve seen firsthand that there aren’t always many opportunities or platforms for aspiring filmmakers and creatives. But at the same time, I believe there is so much talent here and so many stories waiting to be told. South Africa has countless untold stories, especially from communities and people whose experiences don’t always get the opportunity to reach wider audiences.

I want to be part of changing that. I want to tell stories from the Eastern Cape and South Africa that can reach people locally and around the world stories that showcase our people, our culture, our struggles, our beauty, and our everyday experiences.

I’m here to learn, grow, meet other creatives, collaborate, and hopefully turn some of these stories into films that people can see and connect with.
