And somehow… you know exactly who brought it to you.
Red Bull.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED
Red Bull didn’t sponsor events.
They became the event.
Instead of running ads, they built:
  • Air races through city skylines
  • Cliff diving competitions in exotic locations
  • Insane mountain bike descents
  • Homemade flying machine festivals (Flugtag)
  • And the ultimate: Red Bull Stratos
They turned marketing into spectacle.
Not interruptions…Destinations.
WHY IT WORKED (PSYCHOLOGY)

People skip ads.
People seek out insanity.
Red Bull became something you choose to watch, not something forced on you.

You’re not just drinking an energy drink…

  • Live, unusual, unexpected
2. Make It Shareable
  • Would someone film this?
  • Would someone send it to a friend?
If not… it’s not big enough.
3. Own It
  • Don’t just sponsor something
  • Name it
  • Brand it
  • Repeat it
4. Build a Series
  • One event = good
  • A recurring event = brand identity
