Lies I Believed (and LOL Now)
At one point in my life, I believed...
👉 I had to be consistent with one craft to be taken seriously
👉 That creative people aren’t “business-minded”
👉 That I had to choose between being fun and being successful
💀 LIES. All of it.
I’ve burnt out trying to be polished.
I’ve quieted my own brilliance to fit into someone else’s system.
I’ve paused my magic waiting for a perfect plan.
And the truth is?
✨ I’m most magnetic when I’m in my chaos.
✨ I’m most powerful when I’m playing.
✨ I don’t need to “fit” someone else's strategy — I AM the strategy.
The version of me that believed those lies?
She was doing her best.
But now? I laugh. I high-five her.
I thank her. And then I leave her in the past.
💬 What’s a belief you once held that now makes you laugh a little?
Or drop a 💣 or GIF in the comments and I’ll pick one of my old lies to blow up tomorrow.
