Choosing Music for Content 😮💨
Hey y'all, I'm currently making a soundtrack for an upcoming event and I did something that I thought would be really relevant for you guys.
Sometimes I have trouble finding the song that I wanna use I when it's time to make content. So using this prompt(below) I created a playlist of my favorite songs that can be used for specific or particular moments
You can modify it to be able to use your content just copy and paste a list of the music that you have saved into chat GPT and then it'll give you a list back to put in your notes on your phone. I hope that this is helpful.
Prompt:
"I’m creating a categorized soundtrack for my instagram content. Please do the following:
- Ask me to paste the song list (title + artist).
- Ask me for the event context/vibe (e.g., professional, hype, luxury, community-driven).
- Based on the music itself, create custom-style moods (not just generic hype/chill—interpret the songs and vibe).
- Suggest specific content styles & use cases for each track.
- Output as a CSV file with three columns in this exact order:
- "Mood Category"
- "Suggested Use Case"
- "Song Name"
The CSV should be formatted so I can import directly into Google Sheets without extra cleanup."

No I always know what song I want
Well, It takes me a really long time to pick the right song
I usually give up and go with the first one that I like
I don't add music to my content
